This is Poli’s personal site with her drawings and posts. This page says, short and plain, what the site keeps about you and why.

Analytics and ads

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies. It is Cloudflare’s service with its own privacy policy. The site has no ads.

Where the site lives

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Comments, likes and contact form messages are kept in Cloudflare’s storage (Workers KV).

The security check

The comment form and the contact form use Cloudflare Turnstile to stop bots. For the check, the site also sends your IP address to Cloudflare. Turnstile is Cloudflare’s service with its own privacy policy.

Comments

When you write a comment, the site keeps the name and text you entered, the post, the language, the time, your IP address, the country, region and city Cloudflare derives from it, and your browser details (user agent).

The name and text are checked automatically by a Cloudflare language model (Workers AI) for insults, spam and harmful content. The site keeps the result of the check with the comment. A comment that does not pass the check is not shown and waits for review.

• Published comments stay until they are deleted.
• Held comments are deleted automatically after 90 days.
• Removed comments are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Your browser remembers your name (in localStorage), so you do not have to type it every time. It stays only on your device.

Likes

The site counts the likes of every post. A post can be liked once per IP address and once per browser. For that, the site keeps for one year a marker that is a SHA-256 hash of your IP address, the post and an extra value (salt). The IP address itself is not kept. Your browser remembers (in localStorage) which posts you liked.

Contact form

When you write to me, the site keeps your name, email and message, the time, your IP address, the country Cloudflare derives from it, and your browser details. Messages are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Rate limit

To stop too many requests, the site counts for a short time (about one minute) how many comments, messages and likes come from one IP address. For likes, it keeps a SHA-256 hash of the IP address and an extra value (salt) instead of the address.

Copy during review

While the messages and comments are reviewed, a copy of them is kept on the admin’s computer and deleted by hand.

If you want something deleted

Write to me through the contact form and say which comment or message to delete. I will delete it as soon as I can.
